Create a WebAPI User

To create a new user via the WebAPI, you can send a POST request to the /api/accounts/ endpoint with the required user information in the request body. The required fields typically include username, email, and password.

This endpoint is optional and depends on your API’s configuration. If enabled, it allows you to create users directly through the API, which can be useful for various applications such as user registration or administrative tasks.

Example Request: .. code-block:: sh

curl -X POST http://yourdomain.com/api/accounts/

-H “Content-Type: application/json” -d ‘{

“username”: “newuser”, “email”: “newuser@example.com”, “password”: “your_password_here”

}’

Make sure to replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain, and your_token_here with a valid token that has the necessary permissions to create users.

Depending on your API’s configuration, you may also need to include additional fields or headers as required by your authentication and authorization setup.

Note

You might need to confirm the user’s email address or perform additional steps depending on your application’s requirements and settings.
